The design takes inspiration from rock formations gradually altered by wind and erosion.

Wind itself cannot be seen, yet over long periods it leaves visible traces across a landscape—cutting into softer surfaces, rounding exposed edges and creating unexpected cavities and transitions.

Aeolian Pillar translates this idea into a vertical sculptural form.

Some areas appear deeply eroded, while others remain heavier and more intact. These irregular transitions prevent the surface from feeling repetitive or mechanically generated. Light and shadow further emphasize the changing relief throughout the day.

The result is not intended to imitate a particular stone formation literally, but to capture the impression of a natural object that has been slowly shaped rather than deliberately constructed.

The sculptural body is created using JART TEAM's stone-look material and surface craftsmanship rather than being carved from solid natural stone.

An optimized FRP-based composite system, incorporating resin, glass fiber and selected mineral or stone aggregates, allows the form to achieve substantial visual depth while remaining more practical for interior applications than an equivalent solid-stone structure.

The surface is then individually refined and hand-finished to create variations in:
