Stone Halo
Stone Halo explores the quiet balance between raw natural texture and refined sculptural form.
A broad circular top rests on a softly tapered base, creating a simple yet distinctive silhouette reminiscent of a weathered stone pedestal shaped over time. The restrained proportions give the piece a sense of visual stability, while its irregular stone-like surface introduces depth, shadow and tactile character.
Rather than reproducing natural stone literally, Stone Halo interprets its texture and presence through JART TEAM's material and surface craftsmanship. Carefully developed layers, subtle variations and hand-finished details create the impression of naturally aged stone while allowing the piece to remain suitable for contemporary interiors.
Designed as both a functional side table and a small sculptural object, Stone Halo can sit comfortably beside a lounge chair, sofa or bed, or work independently as an accent piece within residential, hospitality and boutique commercial spaces.
Sculptural Simplicity
The design is built around two simple geometric forms: a substantial circular top and a gently tapered base.
Their proportions create a quiet architectural presence without making the table feel visually heavy. The rough stone-inspired finish softens the geometry, allowing the object to feel less manufactured and more naturally formed.
From different viewing angles and under changing light, the textured surface creates varying highlights and shadows, giving the piece a continually changing expression.
Crafted Stone-Look Surface
Stone Halo is created using JART TEAM's composite material system and specialized hand-applied surface techniques.
Instead of using a solid block of natural stone, the structure and finish are developed separately, allowing us to achieve the visual depth and tactile quality of stone while providing greater flexibility in form, weight and fabrication.
The final surface is individually finished by hand. Slight differences in texture, tone and detail are therefore part of the character of each piece rather than manufacturing defects.
